Treasure House Fair – Forbes Magazine

Henrik Godsk is exhibiting at the Treasure House Fair with London’s Vigo Gallery.

The Treasure House Fair returns for its third edition in 2025 at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London. For one week during the summer, the fair features a curated selection of art, antiques, and design from seventy prominent dealers, with all pieces vetted by independent experts for quality and authenticity.

Founded by Thomas Woodham-Smith and Harry van der Hoorn, who also established the Masterpiece Fair, Treasure House has quickly become a notable cultural event. After two successful editions, the founders and exhibitors aim to maintain its reputation as a highlight of the summer season.

“Danish artist Henrik Godsk fuses early 20th-century Cubism with carnival aesthetics in his bold, stylised portraits. Influenced by his heritage as a seventh-generation fairground traveller, Godsk’s works – on display at Vigo gallery – are rich in geometric precision, cultural memory, and a playful tension between handcraft and modernist form. Geometric lines and flattened fields of colour are infused with influences of Modigliani and Russian avantgarde art, combined with decorative patterns inspired by Godsk’s upbringing in the fairground community.”
